Dark Sky Expedition

We will be following the traditional trail into Ireland’s largest wilderness & dark sky reserve in Ballycroy National Park, the trail was traditionally used as the main road from Bangor Erris to Newport.
Experience this wilderness at a steady pace with our dedicated guide and experienced Mountain Leader
This hike takes place over two days.
We will begin hiking approx 2pm Saturday, we set up camp overnight on the trail
We should complete the trail between 11am and 1pm Sunday

This hike requires a good level of fitness and takes place over two days including a wild camp. The terrain ranges from rough mountain terrain, wet bog, boardwalk and mountain trail.
